Help for Young Women
Help for girls (under 14)
Sexual abuse of young people comes in many forms.
It is sexual abuse if someone is doing any of these things to you:
- Having sex with you
- Touching or kissing your private parts
- Flashing you
- Stalking you
- Showing you sexual pictures of themselves or other people (pornography)
- Getting you to take naked or sexual pictures of yourself
- Sending you sexual texts, emails, IMs
- Asking you to do something sexual for money or gifts
It can be people you love and trust who are doing this to you. It could be an adult or someone your own age. But no-one has the right to do any of this. Whatever it is, if you don’t feel comfortable, they are wrong to do it.
It’s not your fault: they shouldn’t be doing it.
