Let Us Help You

people image

If you have experienced any kind of sexual violence, you are probably reacting with emotions and physical feelings you never felt before.  Whatever the assault you suffered, you have had a very difficult and hugely traumatic experience.

Every woman responds in her own way.  It's very personal.  But it’s important to understand that your feelings are a result of what you have been through.

Remember:  the assault was not your fault.

Often, talking to another woman  in confidence and privately about your feelings can help. All our workers and volunteers are trained to support you and to help you to understand your reactions and emotions.  Getting back control of your life may be a long process, but talking is usually a good first step.
